Posey School is located in the historic waterfront village of Northport on Long Island's north shore. Settled in the early 1600's, a walk down Main Street is a walk back in time as visitors and residents alike enjoy the quaint shops, boutiques and first-class restaurants.

Posey School is located at 57 Main Street on the north side of the street. Our community began dancing in this historic building in 1891 when it was occupied by the International Organization of Odd Fellows, Northport Lodge No. 528. The original 1891 dance program is being preserved by the Northport Historical Society which also has a program of a dance held here on the occasion of the President's Birthday in February of 1894.
