Modern Dance is offered to boys and girls ages 8 to 16 years of age.
Modern Dance explores dance concepts, encourages correct body placement and ease of movement. Using a variety of contemporary modern dance techniques that introduce floor work, traveling movements and dance sequences, the class emphasis is on personal discovery and enjoyment of dance. Performance opportunities are offered as soon as students are ready to share their dances with others. There are three levels of classes and placement is by audition. |
