Posey School offers its students an education in the arts.

Our comprehensive dance, art, music and drama programs are based on developmentally appropriate original curricula. Experienced and caring faculty create and facilitate a rich and joyful learning experience for all students, whether a young child or an adult. Students grow and discover their unique form of expression with confidence and a sense of accomplishment that is personally rewarding, life enhancing, and artistically satisfying. We believe these accomplishments affect all aspects of our students' lives.

Founded in 1953
Since Posey School began, we have strived to offer a complete education in dance. With dance at the root of our tradition, we have evolved over time to include related arts of music, drama and the visual arts while continually expanding and updating dance in education and as a performing art.

Methodology
Faculty members guide students through the process of discovery while they are learning and enhancing artistic and technical skills. We offer unique programs that emphasize both the artistic and cultural benefits of applying oneself in the arts.
